1. Legal framework
Shiftdora is an online service, acccessiable through the mobile app, owned and operated by Felix Pietruska (“Shiftdora”, “FP”, “We”), domiciled in Spain.
It is therefore governed by the laws and regulations of Spain.
We’re EU 🇪🇺 GDPR compliant.
2. Data Shiftdora collects from you, and how we use it
Data collection is limited to the following:
2.1. Anonym accounts: You can use the service temporary without registering yourself with email and password. By doing so, you may eventually loose access to your own data. Because we don’t have the technical means to identify anonym accounts with you personally, your data will be lost.
2.2. Account creation: You can register yourself with email and password. All private information or data belongs to you. Request to delete your account here.
2.3. IP logging: By default, we do not keep permanent IP logs in relation with your account. However, IP logs may be kept temporarily to combat abuse and fraud, and your IP address may be retained permanently if you are engaged in activities that breach our Terms of Service (e.g. attempts to circumvent the security mechanisms, to attack the service or its users).
2.4. Communicating with Shiftdora: Your communications with us, such as support requests, bug reports, or feature requests may be saved by us. We may also rely on third parties (see below).
2.5. Visiting the shiftdora.com website: We don’t use cookies. And currently don’t run analytics on user behaviour.
2.6. Using the Shiftdora app: When you use the app, we may collect certain information. We may use mobile analytics software (e.g. sentry.io, see below) for crash reporting, Play Store app statistics, App Store app statistics) to send crash information to our developers in order to address bugs and improve the service. Some platforms, such as Google’s Play Store or Apple’s App Store may also collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, which may be governed by their respective privacy policies and Terms of Service.
2.7 Links to other websites and embedded content: Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content of any website that we link to, and external sites are governed by their own Terms of Service and privacy policies.
2.9 Duration: We store your personal information for as long as you hold a user account with us. If you request to delete your account, you’ll lose access to the service immediately, and your data will be permanently deleted within 3 months.
3. Network traffic and data storage
3.1. Data processing location: Your data is stored on our servers, located in the European Union 🇪🇺.
3.2. Network traffic: All network traffic to and from our app is encrypted using SSL/TLS. Your data may go through third-party networks, which we do not control. This could enable a third party to record your IP address or see that you are using shiftdora services (the same information that your internet service provider is able to see). These third parties cannot see your actual data, which remain encrypted.
4. Third-party data processors
In addition we share some neccesary data with the following vendors, to be able to deliver the service to you:
Sentry
What information: Your phone make, model, and a log of the apps state, exclusively at the time of a crash or error. Personal information is never included.
Purpose: So we can address bug fixes and improve the service.
Data processing location: in the EU 🇪🇺 (Frankfurt, Germany)
Google Mail
What information: Email, name and correspondence
Purpose: To send emails (also transaction based from the service) to contact you and distribute relevant information to account holders of Shiftdora.
Data processing location: in the U.S. 🇺🇸
5. Data disclosure
We will only disclose if we are legally obligated to do so by a binding request coming from the Spanish authorities.
6. Your privacy rights at Shiftdora
We’re EU 🇪🇺 GDPR compliant. Hence you have the following rights:
- Know what information we collect. See 2.
- Demand we keep your information updated and correct your information if it’s incorrect.
- Demand your information be completely deleted from our records. Request to delete your account here.
- Data portability (that we hand over your information to you)
- Protest our handling of your information.
- Make a complaint about our handling of your personal information tu us, via email at [obfuscated] , or to send a formal complaint to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
7. Changes to our Privacy Policy
Within the limits of applicable law, we reserve the right to review and change this Privacy Policy, at any time. As long as you are using our service, you are responsible for regularly reviewing this Privacy Policy. Continued use of your account or our service, including non-deletion of your account after such changes are performed shall constitute your consent to them. The latest Privacy Policy will apply going forward and to any dispute or issue arising after the Privacy Policy have been updated.
